The New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers
A group of fire protection engineers and allied professionals dedicated to advancing the art and science of fire protection engineering, maintaining a high ethical standard among its members, and fostering fire protection engineering education..
We do this by:
Conducting regular meetings
where the members discuss local issues and hear technical presentations
Holding technical seminars
full day technical seminars in spring and/or fall
Hold an annual field trip
with a visit to a facility (an industrial or equipment manufacturing facility) of interest to the chapter membership.
SFPE updates
we keep members updated on the activities and the resources provided by the parent SFPE organization.
College scholarship
operate a scholarship fund (with the New York Metro Chapter) primarily financed by the annual golf outing to support college students in fire protection engineering..
